Ways to Give
As Christians, we believe everything we have belongs to God and we are called to give back to God through our time, talents, gifts, and service. We believe that Stewardship is what we do with the time, talents, and treasure that God has entrusted to every one of us. Everything we have is a gift from God because God made us and God made us able to earn what we have.
This includes the ways we give back to God through the church, using our gifts for the glory of God and to serve God’s purposes in the world.
What is a Pledge?
A pledge is an exercise in faith. After thoughtfully considering all the ways God has provided for us in the past, after thoughtfully counting all the blessings we currently enjoy, we prayerfully seek God's direction in making a promise--a covenant about what we think we can share in the future. It may seem like a stretch to us right now.
We trust that God will help us find the ways and means to make our intentions a reality. If we are not sure how we will accomplish it, our pledge itself becomes an act of faith. Because we have seen God come through for us before, our faith is strengthened as we observe the surprising ways our intentions are realized.
We hope you will prayerfully consider making a pledge to our Annual Giving Campaign.
"Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD; and David the king also rejoiced with great joy." 1 Corinthians 29:9
