Planting Seeds for the Future
St. Barnabas Capital Campaign
Over the past three years, St. Barnabas has been experiencing something truly special—growth.
Not just in numbers, but in faith, community, and our shared commitment to serve. We’re seeing new faces, deepening relationships, and a renewed energy in all that we do.
Our journey has been shaped by connection—through music that inspires, outreach that uplifts, and ministries that nurture the hearts of children, youth, and adults. As we grow, so does our impact. We’re reaching further into our neighborhoods, listening more closely to the needs around us, and responding with love and purpose.
Rooted in God’s Love, we are fulfilling our mission and vision to plant seeds for the future while building spaces to encourage deeper community connections for generations to come.

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which is planted in the field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, when it grows, it becomes a tree, so that the birds will come and rest in its branches.
-Matthew 13: 31-32
Our Past
Since our founding in Sycamore High School, we have been committed to being a neighborhood church. We created programs to include an adult day care center, collaborations with Findlay Street, giving aid to those affected by the 1999 tornado, and making St. Barnabas a place for everyone to worship and build lifelong friendships. Join us as we work to secure our ability to live into that calling for generations to come.

Our Present
St. Barnabas is growing—in faith, numbers, and in our mission to serve others. The past three years have brought incredible growth, and we are excited for the future as we expand our impact through music, outreach, and ministry with children, youth, families, seniors and our community.
