Holy Communion
Children explore the Holy Eucharist and their relationship with God. The class has a number of special lessons, including a visit with the clergy when students will learn all about the sacraments and altar vessels.

The class "graduates" on the third Sunday of November at the 10 a.m. service where the congregation celebrates them and recognizes their studies.

Confirmation
Confirmation is open to 7th Graders through adults, and classes are scheduled every two years, generally in the fall.
​
Candidates make a public affirmation of their faith, recommit themselves to the responsibilities of their baptism, and receive laying on of hands by the bishop.
St. Barnabas will have confirmation on November 14, 2021. Bishop Smith will be presiding. Classes begin Sunday, September 12, 2021.
