Church Filled for Harmony for Habitat Concert

Michael Chertock and friends from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra turned a hot, steamy afternoon in July into a cool, beautiful music-filled afternoon of joy and enjoyment. The booming encore with Michael on the organ and Father George A. Hill on timpani playing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" brought the packed audience to its feet with a standing ovation.

The Harmony for Habitat Concert raised $6,335. Volunteer performers are shown below.

Shown above left to right: Charles Morey, violin; Michael Chertock, master of ceremonies, piano accompanist and piano soloist; John Nolan, St. Barnabas' liaison to Habitat and Greater Cincinnati Coalition of Churches; Yang Gau, violin; Ed Lee, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, provided an update of Habitat's recent activities during intermission; Randolph Bowman, flute; and Christopher Sales and Hugh Michie, bassoons.
