Kairos Prison Ministry News

After a long lockdown at the Lebanon Correctional Institution, Kairos Prison Ministry has been granted permission to conduct a Kairos Weekend, March 10-13.
St. Barnabas brothers and sisters, we need your help!
Below are some of the ways you could lend your hands and hearts to our ministry:
Please pray that the Holy Spirit will fill the hearts and minds of the 42 residents who have volunteered to participate in the Weekend. Please pray, also, for the Kairos Ministry volunteers to have servant’s hearts and to have and give the love of Jesus.
Bake cookies with love for all of the prison’s approximately 2,800 residents. Directions will be posted soon. We can provide reimbursement for cookie dough, if necessary. Each Kairos volunteer is requested to gather 200 dozen cookies.
Place your name on the prayer vigil or paper prayer chain so that the resident participants can visualize the great number of people on the outside who care enough to pray for their spiritual journey.
Encourage your children's art contributions. If you have children who would like to help us, our younger brothers and sisters are welcome to make posters and color placemats. They can show their support by signing their art with their first name, last initial, and age.
Please email Charles Howard with any questions you may have. Thank you for your support of this important ministry.
