Parishioners Reflect on their Holy Land Trip

After the 10 a.m. service January 27, a group gathered in the undercroft to hear stories from the people who participated in the trip to Israel October 15-27 last year and see slides of the historic and interesting places they visited. Many spoke of being touched by either immersion or toe wetting or recommitting their baptismal vows in the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized. Others spoke of the complicated relationship between the Palestinians and the Israelis. Some remember the heat of the day they walked eight miles. But all came back with an experience they will never forget and a better understanding of the geography of Jesus’ life and ministry.
