St. Barnabas Choir Joins BAMSO

The St. Barnabas Adult Choir led the audience in singing the national anthem at the Memorial Day concert with the Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Michael Chertock.

Later in the program, the choir premiered "Cincinnati Responders Hymn," dedicated to the selfless acts of courage by police, fire, and EMS. The tune was the Navy Hymn (Melita) by John Bacchus Dykes and the words were written by Dr. Michael Curran based on phrases suggested by the recently deceased Blue Ash Police Lieutenant Richard Burdick.
