A Life of Prayer
Monday, December 4, 2023
Join us in praying the Stations of the Cross during the Lenten Season. For centuries, Christians have made pilgrimages to holy places. In the medieval period, when pilgrimages to Jerusalem were becoming popular, people began walking the traditional path Jesus took from his arrest to his passion and death. Since it wasn’t realistic for all Christians to travel to Jerusalem, the Church began to offer local pilgrimage liturgies—Stations of the Cross. Join us in prayer Mondays at 11 a.m. or feel free to pray the stations on your own during the week. Booklets are available in the narthex.
